The ASAC executive board members chair committees that plan and implement events and activities with specific goals and objectives.
Committee Chairs: Ben Hoffman and Sarah Thiry
The Dances Committee takes the interests of the Augsburg student
body and plans two major dances during the academic year--the
Homecoming Dance as well as the Spring Affair Dance.
They choose the theme, location, decorations and all details
of the dances.
Committee Chair: Becky Solheim
The design committee provides graphic design expertise to the organization. They work with the other committees to come up with professional, eye-catching posters and fliers.
Committee Chairs: Chris Scribner and Richmond Appleton
The Diversity Programming Committee members' primary role is to establish and maintain awareness of diversity issues within the organization and campus programs. These people work with multicultural issues to facilitate programs that raise discussion and are culturally sensitive and aware.
Committee Chair: Mitch Billings
The Major Concerts committee plans two major events during the academic year--the Auggie Day's concert and Spring Music Jam. They will bring in diverse, well-known national talent that will appeal to the tastes of the student body.

The Major Events committee plans two major events throughout the
year, one being the annual ASAC All-Nighter in January.
Through programming, this committee will assist with
promoting healthy student involvement and development.

The production committee works within the organization to provide technical and production support for events.
Committee Chair: Katie Tikalsky
The public relations committee works with the image and reputation
of the organization and coordinate recruitment efforts.
This position also works with the vice-president to develop
ASAC committee member recruitment and executive board recruitment
plans.
Committee Chair: Pat Dougherty
The Twin Cities Live committee plans events that feature local
latent from the Twin Cities (such as comedians, bands, coffee shop
artists, ect…). They
also plan one major event, Battle of the Bands in the fall, and then
coordinate a regularly occurring local talent series.
Dances: Wednesdays 7-8pm
Diversity: Tuesdays 7-8pm
Major Concerts: Mondays 6:30-7:30pm
Major Events: Thursdays 7-8pm
Production: Wednesdays 7-8pm
