Where does Student Government recieve it's funds?
Every term an Acticity Fee is paid by Augsburg Students. For Day Students this fee is $90.00 per semester and for WEC Students it is $9.00 per trimester. These fees are then used to establish an annual budget. Every year monies are allocated to the Echo, each commissioned organization (The Augsburgian, Augsburg Student Activities Commission, Campus Ministry, Link, Pan-Afrikan Student Union, and Queer and Straight in Unity) and a certain amount not to fall below $25,000 is allocated to the Chartered Grant Request Fund. Any chartered organization is able to submit a grant request. To begin a chartered organization read the Charter Requriments under the "Documents" heading and fill out an Intent to be Active Form under the "Applications" heading.
