Welcome to Augsburg College! We are delighted to host the IX International Symposium in Music and Medicine.
We are located in the heart of metropolitan Minneapolis. The Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis are home to some of the finest healthcare programs in the country, including the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, the largest and one of the first integrative healthcare programs in the United States. Augsburg College’s music therapy program was founded in 1974, and music therapy students receive their practicum and internship training in these exceptional medical facilities. We are delighted to extend a hearty welcome to you from the North Star State of Minnesota!
