Academic Skills Office - Conditional Admit Program (CAP)

Students who are admitted conditionally are offered support through the Conditional Admit Program (CAP).

Requirements for 2011 CAP Students

  1. Have a summer conversation with your Academic Coach
  2. Be enrolled in GST 001: CAP Seminar in the Fall Semester
  3. Meet regularly with your Academic Coach during your first term

If the CAP student does not fulfill the requirements of the CAP, he/she will be continued in the CAP Program or dismissed from the college.

FERPA Information for Parents
FERPA is the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (updated in 1977), often referred to as the Buckley Amendment. FERPA is the federal law that requires colleges and universities to maintain the privacy of students' education records. FERPA guarantees students the right to consent prior to the release of a record to a third party, the right to be notified of their privacy rights, as well as some other rights.
