Why I chose Augsburg: I wanted to come to Augsburg because I like the friendly feel and homey atmosphere. When I came to visit campus everyone was so helpful, friendly, and genuinely cared about making me feel welcome. I noticed right away that there is a very distinct and sincere compassion in the caliber of people who chose to attend this college. Moreover, the active role Augsburgians take in embodying their schools values of acceptance, diversity, and philanthropy are inspirational to say the least.
Augsburgs location was also a factor in drawing me in. Augsburgs campus is a small and intimate one, but if you are looking for excitement and new faces, the city and all its opportunities are only a short walk, bike, bus, or trolley ride away. The city is an exciting and enticing place to be. There is so much to learn, see, and do.
Fun Facts: I am a part time model, I have been in a train accident, my initials spell MAD and I have a twin brother.
Favorite Things: I enjoy a plethora of activities. I enjoy singing, playing piano, cooking, working out, running, playing intramural sports, philosophical discussion, giving hugs and occasionally talking in British accents. I love the animated series Avatar the Last Airbender, as well as Law and Order SVU, Dexter, and Weeds to name a few. Some movies I like are Shawshank Redemption, 7 Pounds, Inception, The Notebook, The Pursuit of Happiness, Pay it Forward, and The Harry Potter and Twilight series
What you do at Augsburg: At Augsburg the majority of my time is spent doing science homework and labs. Therefore, my copious free time is spent singing in Cedar Singers and hanging out with friends.
