Why I chose Augsburg: I came to Augsburg primarily for its Film program, but I instantly fell in love with the friendly atmosphere and Augsburg's relationship with Minneapolis.
Fun facts: This summer, I canoed 250 miles down the Mississippi with a friend from high school. We plan on taking a week of vacation every year until we make it all the way down to the Gulf.
Favorite movies and books: Anything by Francois Truffaut, Rachel Getting Married, Synecdoche New York, La Règle du jeu. The Great Gatsby, The Godfather, A Farewell to Arms.
What I do at Augsburg: For the 2010-11 school year, I will be serving as a Bonner Leader and a Sabo Scholar. I also play intramural soccer and volleyball. This spring, I plan on studying film in Prague, Czech Republic.
Where I've been: Fishing on Lake Michigan, as well as to Manitoba, Arizona, Wisconsin, North/South Dakota, Kansas, Munich, London, Lucerne, Paris, and Innsbruck.
