Professor Barth joined the Augsburg PA program faculty in 2008 after several years in clinical practice as a paramedic and as a Physician Assistant. "I think that my prior clinical and life experiences have given me a unique perspective on the practice of medicine and therefore I am able to approach education with a very practical style." As a PA in family practice, emergency medicine and surgery professor Barth has gained experience that is valuable in teaching students in our program.
Eric is originally from Eastern Montana but has been in the Twin Cities for several years. He received his undergraduate education at the University of St. Thomas and received his Physician Assistant training at Trevecca University in Nashville, TN and at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He enjoys golf, hunting and fishing and spending time with family.
