Test Prep Courses Offered to Alumni
Studying for the LSAT, GRE, or GMAT? Check with Augsburg’s Undergraduate Research and Graduate Opportunity Office (URGO) for courses offered throughout the year at very affordable, discounted costs. Courses are open to current students, alumni, and others in the Augsburg community.

"Email for Life" is a free service provided by Google and offered to graduates of Augsburg college. This private email account will be established for you by the Alumni Office upon request to alumni@augsburg.edu and verification of your graduation date. Login and password information will be emailed to you from the Alumni Google account.

Auggie Athletics

Athletic Facilities: Ice Arena, Air Structure, Si Melby Gym, Fitness Center, Racquetball Court
Current buidling hours for Si Melby Hall and Kennedy Center can be found on the flat screen located in the Kennedy lobby. Posted weekly facility schedules are located inside the air structure, outside of rinks A and B, the gym, and the fitness centers. The Ice Arena is available for open hockey (Rink A) and general skating (Rink B) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM during the school year. Helmets are required during open hockey. The Ice Arena has limited availability during breaks or in the summer. The Air Structure is open for usage Monday-Friday, November-March between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Open gym times vary. Alumni may use the racquetball court by signing up on the posted sheets at the court. Reservations must be done in person - no phone reservations are available.
Alumni will be asked for identification when using the facilities. An Augsburg ID card (available in the Enrollment Center) or an A-Club pass will expedite your admission. Alumni using the facilities are allowed one guest. Fitness Center access is available by emailing parking@augsburg.edu and requesting a fob. Your alumni status will be confirmed and they will let you know when your fob is available for pick up in Public Safety.
Augsburg Legacy Award
The Augsburg Legacy Award program is available to fulltime day students working toward their first bachelor’s degree, who are children or spouses of Augsburg graduates; siblings of current Augsburg students; or children or spouses of current ELCA pastors. No scholarship application is required. Students who qualify for both the Legacy Award and Regents’ Scholarship or Transfer Regents’ Scholarship will receive only one award, whichever is higher. Renewal is based on maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0, measured at the end of spring term.
Amount: Minimum of $4,000 per year
Deadline: Accepted for admission by May 1 for fall enrollment or December 1 for spring enrollment.

Discount on Classes
Alumni are offered up to four courses – one course per term – at 50% of the current part-time tuition rate (Day or Weekend programs). This benefit does not apply to alumni whose enrollment qualifies them for full-time comprehensive tuition. Tuition discount must be applied for in the same academic year as the course is taken. The following courses do not apply for the benefits noted: Directed Study, Independent Study, Internships, Summer School, Graduate Programs, Study Abroad, Continuing Education. The following meet the requirements for the benefits noted: Fall, Winter or Spring term course, Student Teaching, Partial Courses (.50 and .25 Education courses use one of the four benefits). NOTE: The tuition discount cannot be applied until after the 10th day of classes in the specified term.
10% Discount for Augsburg MBA
In an effort to attract Augsburg's finest back to continue their education, the Augsburg MBA is offering a 10% reduction to graduates of any of Augsburg's undergraduate programs (including Weekend College). The discount applies to students who begin the MBA in April or September 2011 and will be applied to each course in the MBA.
