There are a number of ways to get involved, being involved is a great way to stay connected to your college and other alumni.
A-Club
The organization of former and current Augsburg College athletes promotes a quality athletic experience by supporting Augsburg student-athletes and the athletic department.
ABC (Augsburg Builds Connections) Mentoring Program
The Augsburg Builds Connections mentoring program is designed to enable parents and alumni professionals to provide information, encouragement and support to students. This flexible volunteer program allows mentors to connect with students via email, phone or face-to-face meetings and assist them in navigating their career path and achieving their professional goals. Auggie Fund Agents
Aggie Fund Agents cultivates relationships with classmates, encourages them to reconnect to the college and assist with soliciting funds for The Augsburg Fund. They share their story and experiences by reconnecting with alumni.
Auggie in Residence
This program is a way for our alumni to come back to college and share their career expertise with students, faculty and staff. This is a flexible program creating a unique opportunity for alumni to speak on their vocation.
Auggie Liaison
The Auggie Liaison program works to assist the Office of Admissions with local college fairs. The Auggie Liaison program plays a significant role in recruiting students and ensuring the future of Augsburg College. As a volunteer, you will personally identify with prospective students and act as a liaison between students and the College.

Alumni Board
The Alumni Board is a governing body of the Alumni Association. Together with the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations, it provides resources and opportunities to engage alumni with the College and each other through consistent communication, inclusive programming and intentional relationship building.
Augsburg Native American Film Series: March 15-18, 2012
The film festival and corresponding cultural exchange are the venues through which media literacy, community building, and cross-cultural exchange will take place. The three-day film festival will be divided into topic nights that include language and culture, contemporary issues, and traditional stories. Positions available are:
- Volunteer Coordination
- Web Designing and Maintenance
- Marketing and Advertising Assistance
- Donations Coordination
- Evaluation Designing

Augsburg Associates
The Associates support Augsburg through fundraising events including estates sales, Velkommen Jul foods and crafts sale, and memberships. The fund supports special projects and scholarships.

Campus Kitchens

Class Reunion Committee
Volunteers help to plan events for their class during homecoming each year to enhance the experience of their former classmates as they return to campus to reconnect with one another and the College.
Institutional Advancement Assistant
The IA Assistant position has a unique opportunity to work with the Development department, Alumni Relations, Corporate and Foundation, Annual Giving and the Welcome Desk staff to help support and build relationships with our alumni and friends of Augsburg.
MAL Alumni Board
The group engages current students and MAL alumni in the further advancement of the Center for Leadership Studies at Augsburg College.
MBA Alumni Network
The network, comprised of Augsburg MBA graduates, serves to support the work of the program, and keep MBA Alumni connected to one another.
NOW Alumni Advisory Committee
The NOW Alumni Advisory Committee provides feedback on the College's magazine in terms of editorial content and design, to brainstorm with the NOW and Alumni staff about potential areas of interest or stories about persons. Alumni with experience in journalism and/or communications are preferred.
Parent and Family Council
This committee includes parents and family members of current Augsburg students. The Parent/Family Council will help you stay up-to-date with campus events and feel more closely connected with your student and the College.
Scholastic Connections
Is a scholarship and mentorship program for high-achieving students of color with alumni of color in mentoring relationships. Designed to assist students succeed in completing their undergraduate degree and prepare them to be successful graduates.
StepUp Gala and Advisory Board
This program promotes and increases philanthropic support and visibility to the StepUp Program. The Advisory Board helps fundraise and create an endowment for this program.
Young Alumni Council
This volunteer council is comprised of our newest alumni, those who have graduated within the previous 10 years. Their mission is to provide dynamic and engaging social and educational opportunities for their peers. Members also serve as an advisory council to the Office of Alumni and Constituent Relations.
