Lynn Bollman

Instructor

Printmaking, Drawing, Design, and Painting

Old Main 3E; Campus Box 77
612-330-1230

LYNN BOLLMAN, educator and practicing artist, has been teaching two-dimensional art and design with an emphasis in printmaking at Augsburg College for over two decades. He considers teaching an art form. Helping students to discover the courage and confidence necessary to recognize their original thoughts is his primary teaching goal.

Trunks, a recent graphite on paper series, is highly representational and large in scale. The drawings confront the viewer’s body sense. Lynn is currently at work on a hand-colored drypoint series. His work is included in local, national, and international collections.

Lynn is also on the faculty at Minneapolis Community Technical College.

Education:

BA Art Education, Augsburg College
