KIM BOWDEN began teaching graphic and interactive design and illustration at Augsburg College in 2006. Her creative practice includes the design of interactive games to teach visual concepts. Using both digital and traditional media and methods she challenges students to create an experience for the viewer, not just a design.

She is principal owner and art director for Nuts & Bolts Design. Prior to teaching at Augsburg, Kim was on the adjunct faculty at the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul.
