Football -- #3 -- Defensive Back
HS: Chad played three sports in high school: football,
basketball, and baseball. He was an All-Conference Honorable
Mention as team captain in football. He led the team in 1997
in defensive points scored and his team won the SouthWest conference
in 1996. His baseball team won the conference in 1998 and Chad
was a team captain, lettering twice. His basketball team won
the 2AAA section and competed in the state tournament. He was
a captain and lettered three times. Chad was also in the National
Honor Society, Student Council, Students Against Drunk Driving,
as well as Toys for Tots. He was an "A" Honor Roll
student and won the Athletics/Academics/Arts Award.
Personal: Favorite class is Health/Nutrition...First
job was at County Market...Likes Augsburg because of the friendly
people...Athletic goal at Augsburg is to have fun and hopefully
win a lot of games...Favorite athletic memory was playing in
the state basketball tournament...Likes to watch Friends and
The Green Mile...Listens to Third Eye Blind...Likes to eat Italian
food...Favorite Quote: "The Will to win comes from within."
