Jen Amborn (MidAmerica Nazarane '98) is in her first year as an Augsburg assistant athletic trainer. Amborn earned her undergraduate degree in athletic training and physical/health eduation from MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) and earned her master's degree in curriculum and instruction from North Central (Ill.).

She has worked with teams such as the Schaumburg (Ill.) Flyers and the Women's Professional Football League. Prior to coming to Augsburg, Amborn taught in an athletic training education program for seven years and served as head athletic trainer at an NCAA Division II school. She is actively pursuing her doctorate from St. Louis University.

Amborn lives in her hometown of Fridley, Minn., with her two dogs, Gideon and Bella.
