Vinnie Brooks (Augsburg '07), a four-year starter on defense for the Auggies, enters his second season on the Augsburg men's soccer coaching staff in 2008 as a volunteer assistant. A team co-captain in 2006, Brooks competed in 67 games in his Auggie career, contributing eight assists. Brooks also participated in the Auggie men's soccer team's trip to Argentina in 2007. A native of Maple Grove, Minn., Brooks earned All-Northwest Suburban Conference honors as a player at Osseo HS in 2002. Brooks was a health and business management major at Augsburg.
