Bob Broxterman (Cleveland State '79) is in his first year as Augsburg's assistant athletic trainer.

Broxterman has 25 years of experience in sports health care, including 21 years of service at the University of Minnesota and three seasons with the Cincinnati Reds organization.

Broxterman earned his master’s degree from Syracuse University in 1982. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainiers Association and Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association, is an affiliate member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and has been published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine.

Broxterman is married with three children and lives in St. Paul, Minn.
