Augsburg College Athletics Staff -- Steve Dalhed Track and Field Assistant Coach Steve Dalhed (St. John's '05) is in his first season as an assistant track and field coach at Augsburg in 2008. As a member of the Johnnies' track and field team, he earned Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship honors and NCAA Division III national meet berths as a member of the 1,600-meter relay squad, and he currently holds school records in the indoor 200-meter dash, indoor 400-meter dash and as a member of the 1,600-meter and sprint-medley relay squads. Dalhed earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from St. John's in 2005, and also earned a Master of Education degree in applied kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. A native of Apple Valley, Minn., Dalhed earned all-state honors in track and field. He served as a sprint coach for the Apple Valley HS track team for the past two seasons.
