Mark Dean (St.
Cloud State '99) joins the Augsburg staff for his second season
as a defensive backs coach. A native of Faribault, Minn., Dean
was a four-year starter in the defensive backfield at St. Cloud
State, along with being a sprinter on the Huskies' track and
field team. He was part of a North Central Conference-champion
400-meter relay squad in 1998.
In high school,
Dean was a four-sport athlete, earning all-state honors in baseball
and track and field, and all-conference honors in baseball, football,
track and field and hockey. He graduated from St. Cloud State
in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in advertising.
