Adam Dehnel (Augsburg '03) joins
the Auggie volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in
2002. Dehnel, brother of former Augsburg head coach Ryan Dehnel,
is a senior at Augsburg, majoring in youth and family ministry.
Dehnel has been active with the volleyball team throughout his
Auggie years, serving two years as a student assistant coach.
He also handles Augsburg's statistics during team tournaments..
A native of
Apple Valley, Minn., Dehnel has been an active volleyball player
and coach in the Twin Cities. He has coached Junior Olympic volleyball
for four years, three years with the Team-Sota squad and one
year with the Northern Lights squad. He helped to form a men's
volleyball club team at Augsburg in 2001.
