Drew Dehnicke
(Minnesota '01) joins the Augsburg football coaching staff for his second season, guiding the defensive line. Dehnicke spent three seasons as a defensive end for the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team. The Gophers advanced to two bowl games during Dehnicke's tenure, the Sun Bowl in the 1999 season and the Micron/PC Bowl in 2000.

A native of Coon Rapids, Minn., Dehnicke was a two-sport athlete in high school, playing both baseball and football. Dehnicke earned his bachelor's degree in applied economics from Minnesota in 2001.
