Eric Drake (Bethel '05) is in his first year as an assistant athletic trainer at Augsburg College.

Drake earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Bethel in 2005. Drake was also a four-year letterwinner as a pitcher on the Royals' baseball team. He worked last year at Coon Rapids (Minn.) High School as its head athletic trainer, also working as a para educator in special education.

Drake is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association. A native of Lake Zurich, Ill., Drake currently lives in White Bear Lake, Minn. He will be married to his fiance, Cassie Krueger, in November 2006.
