John Dudycha (Minnesota State Mankato '04), enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Auggies in 2007. Dudycha will work with the pitchers. A native of Eden Prairie, Minn., Dudycha has served as the associate head coach/pitching coach for the Eagan (Minn.) Legion program.

He began his collegiate career at Indian Hills Community College (Iowa), earning all-region second-team honors in 2002, then transferred to Minnesota State University Mankato, where he was a reliever for two seasons. His senior season of 2004, he appeared in 18 games (32.1 innings) with a 2-0 record, 19 strikeouts and a team-best 3.34 earned-run-average. He received the team's Tom Blaisdell Spirit Award for outstanding recognition on and off the field. In his junior year, he appeared in 10 games (34.2 innings) as a reliever.
