Dusty Froyum (Augsburg '98) joins
the Augsburg coaching staff for his fifth year, in his second
year handling defensive line responsibilities after three years
as an offensive line coach.
Froyum was
one of the best offensive linemen in school history, protecting
an offense that threw for nearly 7,000 yards during his tenure
(1993-97). He was a co-captain of the 1997 MIAC championship
team that advanced to the NCAA Division III national playoffs
for the first time in school history, earning first-team All-MIAC
honors that season.
A native of
Cologne, Minn., and a 1994 graduate of Waconia HS, Froyum earned
Academic All-MIAC Honor Roll honors his senior season. He earned
his law degree last year from the Hamline University Law School
in St. Paul, Minn.
