Aaron Groth (Wisconsin-La Crosse '99) is in his first year as Augsburg's assistant athletic trainer. He is also certified as a strength and conditioning specialist.

Groth earned his bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1999, doing his internship with the New Orleans Saints, which trained at Wisconsin-La Crosse at the time. For four years, Groth worked in Waukesha, Wis., as a high school athletic trainer and strength/conditioning coach.

A native of Red Wing, Minn., Groth currently lives in Champlin, Minn.
