Matt Howard (Wisconsin-Stout '03) enters his third season on the Augsburg staff in 2007, serving as defensive backs coach. He also serves the college as an enrollment counselor in the Enrollment Center.

Prior to coming to Augsburg, Howard worked as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Stout (2001-04), coaching the defensive backs and coordinating film and scouting reports. While at Wisconsin-Stout, Howard completed his undergraduate degree in marketing and business education, as well as his master’s degree in training and human resource development.

A native of New Hope, Minn., Howard and his fiance Jaimee Cariveau live in Robbinsdale, Minn.
