Amy Jones (Augsburg '05) enters her first season as an Augsburg women‘s basketball assistant coach in 2005-06.

Jones played one season of basketball at Augsburg (2004-05) as a forward, averaging 3.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game (22 games). A native of Minneapolis, Minn., Jones earned multiple honors during her high school career at Minneapolis South HS.

During her years at Augsburg, Jones was a McNair Scholar, orientation and AugSem leader, a member of TRIO and the Augsburg Student Activities Council, a treasurer of the Pan-Afrikan Student Union, and a residence hall community assistant. Jones was a psychology major at Augsburg.
