Matt Karnas (St. Olaf '03) enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Auggies in 2007. Karnas will work with the team's infielders.

A native of Richfield, Minn., Karnes played his collegiate baseball at St. Olaf College, where he was captain in 2003 and was a member of teams that won MIAC titles his freshman, sophomore and junior seasons. He has worked on the baseball staff at Richfield High School, and serves as coach of the Richfield Ramblers amateur baseball team.
