Charlie King (St. Cloud State '00) was named head coach of Augsburg College's new women's swimming and diving team in October 2003.

King also serves as co-head coach for the Monticello (Minn.) Swim Club and as assistant coach for the Monticello High School boys' and girls' swimming teams. King has worked with the Monticello Swim Club since 1998 and with the high school program since 2000.

He served as a volunteer assistant coach at St. Cloud State University in the 1998-99 season, and as head coach at St. Cloud Apollo High School from 1998-2000. King is a 2000 graduate of St. Cloud State University.

He earned his bachelor's degree in social sciences/history, and was a member of the Huskies' swimming and diving team. In the summer of 2004, King worked at the Skip Kenney Stanford International Swim Camp.
