Josh Klimek (Augsburg '97) joins the Auggie men's golf coaching staff for his second season as an assistant coach in 2004-05.

Klimek was a member of the most successful Auggie golf teams in school history in the mid-90s, competing at three straight NCAA Division III national tournaments (1995, 1996, 1997) and winning the MIAC team championship in 1995. Klimek earned individual national honors in 1995, winning the long-drive competition at the national tournament with a 299.76-yard effort.

He earned All-MIAC honors twice (1996, 1997) in his Auggie golf career, including a fourth-place conference finish his senior season. He ended his career with a stroke average of 80.42 (78 rounds), including a 77.65 stroke average his senior season.
