Augsburg College Athletics Staff -- Nik LewandowskiNik Lewandowski

Wrestling Assistant Coach
Contact Nik: (612) 330-1241

Nik Lewandowski (Augsburg '01), one of only four Augsburg wrestlers ever to earn All-America honors four times, joins the Auggie coaching staff for his first season in 2001-02. Lewandowski won the 184-pound national title in dramatic fashion in 2001, with an overtime victory in the national championship match. He had finished second twice and third once at national meets prior to 2001. Lewandowski finished his career as one of seven Auggie wrestlers ever to earn four MIAC championships, and closed his career with a 124-34 record. Both of his sibling were also Augsburg student-athletes; brother Dan won two wrestling natinal titles (1996, 1997) and is also an Augsburg assistant coach; and sister Teresa was a four-year cross country and track and field athlete.
