Augsburg College Athletics Staff -- Cameron Mahlum
Cameron Mahlum (St. Cloud State '94) enters his first season as an Augsburg women's basketball assistant coach. Most recently, Mahlum served as girls' basketball head coach for four seasons (2002-06) at White Bear Lake (Minn.) HS. In 2004, Mahlum coached the Bears to their second state tournament appearance in school history and first since 1985. Prior to coaching at White Bear Lake, he served as head coach (1996-99) at Paynesville (Minn.) HS. Ten of his players (six at White Bear Lake, four at Paynesville) went on to play collegiate basketball. He also served as an assistant coach for football and baseball at Will Rogers HS in Tulsa, Okla., from 1994-96, and as JV baseball coach at Eden Prairie (Minn.) HS in 1994. Mahlum earned his bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State in 1994. While at St. Cloud State, he served as assistant junior varsity baseball coach from 1992-94. He earned his master's degree in education from Hamline in 2002. Mahlum currently serves as a social studies teacher at White Bear Lake HS.
