Augsburg College Athletics Staff -- Pat Marsh
Pat Marsh (Augsburg '03), one of the top infielders in the history of Augsburg baseball, enters his sixth season as an assistant coach for the Auggies in 2009. He also serves the college as assistant manager of athletic facilities. A four-year starter at shortstop who saw action in all 146 Augsburg games in his career (starting 144), Marsh finished his playing days with a career .365 batting average (174-of-477), with 107 runs scored, 32 doubles, seven triples, five home runs, 68 RBI, a .493 slugging percentage and a .429 on-base percentage. Marsh earned All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Rawlings/ABCA All-Midwest Region first-team honors his senior season of 2003, after hitting a team-high .471 as the first Auggie regular to hit more than .400 in a season since 2000. He led the team in most offensive categories, including hits (48), at-bats (102), runs scored (25), slugging percentage (.667), on-base percentage (.554). He had 11 extra-base hits and 20 RBI. He hit .330 or better every season of his career.
