Sarah Master (Minnesota '01) enters her first season on the Augsburg women's hockey coaching staff in 2008-09, serving as the goalie coach.

Master played collegiately on the club level at the University of Minnesota (1995-97) and at Minnesota State Univesity Mankato (1997-98), as well as playing in various amateur leagues. As a high school player at Hibbing HS, she was an all-state honoree and Minnesota Ms. Hockey finalist.

Master has worked as an assistant coach at the  high school level for the Academy of Holy Angels (2005-07) and for the St. Paul Blades (2007-08), as well as working in clinics and grassroots youth hockey programs in Minnesota.

Master earned her bachelor's degree in English literature from Minnesota in 2001, and earned an associate's degree in culinary arts from Delgado Community College in New Orleans, La., in 2005. She has worked as a chef at restaurants in both New Orleans and the Twin Cities, and currently is executive chef at the Barbette restaurant in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis.
