Becky McCathie (Wis.-La Crosse '04) is in her first year as an Augsburg assistant athletic trainer. McCathie earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Wisconsin-La Crosse, and her master's degree in higher education from Iowa State University. Prior to that, she worked for Des Moines (Iowa) Area Community College and two high schools in Iowa as an outreach athletic trainer.

McCathie is a contracted athletic trainer from the Institute for Athletic Medicine and Twin Cities Orthopedics. A native of St. Croix Falls, Wis., McCathie and her husband Travis live in Eden Prairie, Minn., with their cat Cali.
