Anthony Minus (Southwest Minnesota State '04) enters his second season on the Augsburg staff in 2005, serving as defensive line coach.

Minus played collegiately at Concordia-St. Paul (1998) and Southwest Minnesota State (2001-02) as a defensive lineman, and later played semi-pro football for the Minneapolis Lumberjacks, St. Paul Pioneers and Lake Benton Wildcats. Minus has also served as an assistant coach on both the semi-pro and high school level, in addition to coaching tennis and basketball at various levels.

Minus received his bachelor's degree in speech communication (radio/TV) from Southwest Minnesota State in 2004. Minus served as a news reporting intern at KDLT-TV in Sioux Falls, S.D., in 1994, and also worked as a broadcaster at Southwest Minnesota State's KSSU radio and TV stations.

Minus lives in St. Paul, Minn. His brother, Arthur Minus, is a running back on the 2006 Auggie football squad.
