Mari Moore (Minnesota '01) enters his first season on the Augsburg staff in 2007, serving as running backs coach. He will also assist in recruiting efforts in the Minneapolis and St. Paul city conferences.

Moore was a four-year letterwinner for the Division I University of Minnesota football team (1995-98), playing for three seasons as a defensive back and his senior season as a wide receiver. A native of San Antonio, Texas (Converse Judson HS), he was a member of two Texas state championship teams (1992, 1993) in high school.

Moore earned his bachelor's degree from Minnesota in 2001, majoring in sociology and minoring in alcohol and drug addiction studies. Since graduating, he has worked in a variety of fields, including working as an admissions representative at Brown College, as a home mortgage consultant and most recently as an account executive for Countrywide Home Loans Full Spectrum Lending in Eden Prairie, Minn.

He has worked as a volunteer coach for the Eden Prairie football summer workout program, and in 2006, he also worked as a coach on the Minnesota Select junior volleyball program.
