Augsburg College Athletics Staff -- Ryan Servaty
Ryan Servaty (Minnesota '07) enters his first season on the Augsburg men's soccer coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Servaty competed for three seasons of collegiate soccer, two years (2002-03) at the Division II University of Wisconsin-Parkside and one season (2004) at the Division III University of St. Thomas. He earned Academic All-Conference honors both seasons at Wisconsin-Parkside. As a high school player at Elk River (Minn.) HS, Servaty earned all-conference honors twice and conference MVP honors in 2001. He was named an all-state honoree in 2001, while earning honorable-mention all-state honors in 2000. He currently serves as director of player and coach development for the Three Rivers Soccer Association (TRSA) Recreation Program in Elk River. He currently plays and manages the TRSA-I D3 men's league team in the Minnesota Amateur Soccer League. He also manages the TRSA-II D4 squad in the MASL and coaches the TRSA U14 Premier boys' squad. He earned MASL D4 Manager of the Year honors in 2004. He served as head coach of the Zimmerman (Minn.) HS boys' varsity squad in 2004-05, and as co-head coach for Elk River HS in 2006. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Olympic Development Program '90 boys' squad (Augsburg head coach Greg Holker is the team's head coach). He holds a U.S. Soccer Federation "D" coaching license and an NSCAA Regional Diploma. Servaty earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from the University of Minnesota in 2007.
