Ted Vickerman (Augsburg '02) was named co-head coach for the Augsburg men's golf program in May 2005, and assumed head coaching duties on a solo basis prior to the 2007-08 season.

Vickerman, a native of Eden Prairie, Minn., is currently president and owner of Noble Seasonal Lighting, an important company in Chaska, Minn., that specializes in commercial outdoor lighting. He is active in Twin Cities golf, playing to a low single-digit USGA handicap. Vickerman and his co-head coach, Jim Rustad, also have experience with fundamental instruction from three golf teachers ranked in the top 30 by Golf Digest.

A four-year veteran of Augsburg's men's golf program (1999-2002), Vickerman compiled a 78.86 career stroke average in his four seasons (57 rounds) at Augsburg, including a career-best 76.67 average in the fall half of 2002-03 (Vickerman graduated in December 2002). He earned All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors with a fifth-place finish at the MIAC championships in 2001, while finishing 18th in the conference meet in 2002.

After graduating from Augsburg with a bachelor's degree in business administration with minors in accounting and religion, Vickerman moved to New Zealand, where he worked as a payment officer for the country's Ministry of Health. He returned to Minnesota in 2003 when he started his own commercial outdoor lighting firm. Vickerman was a Dean's List student with a 3.6 GPA at Augsburg, earning Academic All-MIAC honors his sophomore, junior and senior years.
