Becky Welle (Augsburg '04) is in her second season as an assistant cross country coach at Augsburg in 2007-08. Welle served as a volunteer assistant cross country coach in the 2006 season. As an Auggie, Welle was co-captain of the cross country team, running on the cross country team for four seasons and the track and field team for three seasons. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications and currently works at ING as a contract specialist downtown Minneapolis. A Sauk Centre, Minn., native, Welle was an all-conference cross country and track runner and basketball player. She continues to be competitive in running and is training for her fifth marathon.
