Donny Wichmann (Augsburg '89), an All-American and three-time MIAC champion at Augsburg, is returning to the Augsburg staff for his 19th season in 2008-09. As a competitor, Wichmann won 137 matches and earned All-America honors in 1989. He won MIAC titles in 1986 (142), 1987 (142) and 1989 (150), earning tournament MVP honors three times. He earned a degree in marketing and management from Augsburg, and was named the school's senior Honor Athlete in 1989.

Wichmann has been the director of marketing and assistant manager at Gopher Stage Lighting in Minneapolis for 13 years, while also owning his own business as a distributor for Brute/Adidas wrestling products. Wichmann lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Mindy.
