Augsburg volleyball team in Brazil -- Day 6 (5/10/08)

The day started off with a trip to the beach. Unfortunately, it was a little too cloudy to get a nice tan. Denielle Johnson and Clarence Maeng took a surfing lesson and Denielle was fairly successful in her attempts to ride the waves. Clarence, on the other hand, struggled to even stand up on the board.

We left the beach to head back to the hotel for lunch and to get ready for our match. Our match was a little over an hour away at a rather nice facility. We played very well and ended up with four wins, which was a nice way to finish off our series of matches here in Brazil.

Once we arrived back at the hotel, we had 40 minutes to transform from a victorious volleyball team to a team ready for a night out on the town. Our tour guides, Cesar and Rene, along with our bodyguard Marcos, showed us downtown Buzios at its finest. We danced the night away and were sad that the night came to an end.
