Women's Golf 4/13/08 -- Augsburg at Carleton Invitational

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (4/13/08) -- Johanna Frykmark (FY, Stockholm, Sweden/Rollingby Gymnasium HS) shot a single-day 108 to place 34th for Augsburg College, as the Auggies placed sixth at the Carleton College Invitational, held on Sunday at the Stonebrooke Golf Club.

Due to wintry weather, the tournament was reduced from a two-day event to a single-day, 18-hole event on Sunday and the site was moved to the Shakopee course. As a team, Augsburg finished sixth with a 459 total.

Kelsey Corrick (FY, Glencoe, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) and Stef Zappa (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Patrick Henry HS) tied for 35th with a 111 total, while Ellen Watters (JR, Lindstrom, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS) placed 37th with a 129 total and Katy Anderson placed 38th with a 144 total.

Augsburg will close its 2007-08 women's golf season on Saturday and Sunday (4/19-20) at the Minnesota Women's Collegiate Golf Association State Championships at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn.
