Women's Golf 9/6-7/08 -- Augsburg at Concordia-Moorhead Invitational

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (9/6-7/08) -- Stefani Zappa (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Patrick Henry HS) shot a two-day total of 181 (90-91), finishing in a tie for 26th place to lead the Augsburg College women's golf team in competition at the Concordia College-Moorhead Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at the Wildflower Golf Course.

Johanna Frykmark (SO, Stockholm, Sweden/Rollingby Gymnasium HS) finished with a two-day, 36-hole total of 186 (93-93), tying for 36th in the 59-player competition. As a team, Augsburg finished ninth in the field with a two-day total of 790 (390-400).

Kelsey Corrick (SO, Glencoe, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) shot a two-day 205 (101-104, 48th place) and Ellen Watters (SR, Lindstrom, Minn.) shot a two-day 218 (106-112, 54th).

Augsburg will return to action next Saturday and Sunday (9/13-14) at the Carleton College Division III Midwest Classic at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, Minn.
