Vanier will face fourth-seed Mike Lopez of Luther (Iowa) in tonight's championship match. The two had split their two earlier meetings this season. Anderson jumped out to a 4-1 second-period lead and used a takedown with 1:34 left in the third period to clinch the win. Anderson, now 44-2 on the season, will face Joe Pflug of Heidelberg (Ohio) in tonight's championship match. At 184, Augsburg's Brad Tupa (Sr., Dundas, Minn./Faribault HS), took an early lead in his semifinal match against top-seed Duane Bastress of York (Pa.), but Bastress converted a takedown and three-point near-fall in the closing stages of the second period to take the lead, en route to an 11-4 victory. Tupa rallied to clinch a spot in the third-place match with a 10-2, major-decision victory over Terry Madden of Hunter (N.Y.) in the wrestlebacks. Tupa scored seven points on three near-falls in the second period to take a commanding lead, improving to 21-4 on the season.
