Game Summary:
MINNEAPOLIS (10/10/99) -- Anne Ducharme (Jr., Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park HS) scored a goal in the third minute, which was all her Augsburg College Auggies needed as the Auggies claimed a 1-0 win over the College of St. Scholastica in a nonconference women's soccer game Sunday at Augsburg's Anderson-Nelson Field.

Ducharme's goal, the first of her career, gave Augsburg its second win in a row. Augsburg is now 2-11 overall. St. Scholastica falls to 4-9 overall.

Goalkeeper Katie Cheese (So., Shakopee, Minn.) picked up her second career shutout in as many days, stopping four shots to score the victory. Augsburg and St. Scholastica had five shots apiece in the game. Mary Reisdorf (Fr., St. Cloud, Minn.) made two saves in goal for the Saints.

Augsburg returns to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a home game against St. Olaf on Wednesday (10/13) at 4 p.m.
