A Leadership Team provides both initial and ongoing direction
Spring 2003
- The AE subcommittee of AAC will continue to guide implementation and provide leadership
- Bring category criteria, 5th category, oversight, recording, transfer and WEC proposal to AAC
- Develop communication materials
- Organize and lead open meetings with faculty and staff
- Develop proposals for staffing
- Recruit Department Coordinator volunteers for the Advisory Committee
- Consult with departments in development of AEs
Fall 2003 and beyond
- A 7-person Leadership Team will be appointed as a subcommittee of AAC with two-year overlapping terms. This Leadership Team will consult with departments and individual faculty as needed, and with Department Coordinators at least once each year.
- The Leadership Team will consist of
- Associate Dean for International Programs (Orv Gingerich) or designated representative
- Director of the Center for Service, Work, and Learning (Lois Olson) or designated representative
- Five faculty members, with full divisional representation
- Department Coordinators form an Advisory Committee — Department chairs in consultation with the Leadership Team will appoint a coordinator from each department with the interest and passion to be
- Cheerleaders to coach and consult with department faculty and students in the development of opportunities
- Believers in the added value of the Augsburg Experience
