Growing up, Janeece Adams ’05 always dreamed of being a doctor. But until she arrived at Augsburg, the Bloomington, Minnesota native could never say exactly why.

“Because of all of my experiences at Augsburg, I feel much more confident about what I want to do with my life. I know who I am and what I am meant to do.”

The centerpiece of Access to Excellence: The Campaign for Augsburg College is construction of a new Science Center and renovation of the existing Science Hall.

Augsburg’s strong tradition of excellence in the sciences, combined with the enormous influence of science on contemporary society form the foundation for the College’s efforts to strengthen and expand science learning. Designed for both science majors and non-majors alike, Augsburg’s science education programs ensure the most well-prepared scientists and scientifically literate citizens.

The facilities will enable Augsburg to widen and deepen the educational foundation it provides for a wide variety of careers in research, medicine, teaching, industry, government, law, public policy, and other fields.
