Karen Neitge Scholarship The Karen Neitge Scholarship, established in 1996 by Augsburg alumna Karen Neitge Holt, is awarded annually to a student of any class or major and is based upon academic achievement, financial need, and those students who volunteer in the community and on the campus, illustrating Augsburgâs commitment to non-discrimination, specifically in the area of sexual orientation. This scholarship continues to reward those who are in line with Augsburgâs commitment to diversity, one which is inclusive of gender expression, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
