Collaborative Partner

BABETTE CHATMAN is an Augsburg College graduate. She serves on the staff of Augsburg College Campus Ministry as a collaborative partner. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, she co-chairs the Mission Table on the Minneapolis Area Synod Council. She is on track for ordination through the Theological Education for Emerging Ministries (TEEM) program.

Babette has offered distinctive presence and service at Redeemer Center for Life for the past eight years. Under her direction, Redeemer Center’s housing program has developed into a highly effective and well-regarded model for resident empowerment and community building. Babette anchors Redeemer Center’s Housing and Transition Program (HAT), mentoring young adults towards healthy, confident adulthood through training in life skills, empowerment, and relationship-building with residents and organizations on a daily basis.
