What is Auggie Days?

Auggie Days is a required on-campus orientation experience for incoming first-year students designed to complement SOAR, provide opportunities to enhance academic and personal success, and offer a helpful advantage in starting at Augsburg College.

Is Auggie Days required?

Yes.  The first four days of Auggie Days (September 1-4) are required for all incoming first-year students who will be starting at Augsburg College in fall 2011. September 4 is "First Year/First Day" and marks the first day of AugSem classes for first-year students. Students are then encouraged to attend the programming for the remaining four days of Auggie days (September 5-8) around their scheduled fall semester classes.

Transfer students are not required to attend Auggie Days but are welcome to attend specific programming that may be beneficial to their transition to Augsburg College. For more information transfer students should contact Campus Activities and Orientation - Orientation Programs at orientat@augsburg.edu or 612-330-1100.

How do students register for Auggie Days?

Registration for Auggie Days is not required.  More information about Auggie Days will be provided during your SOAR session.
