It is part of human nature to evaluate. Generally, the goal is to learn from situations
and make changes in order to improve things. In Public Achievement,
there are precious opportunities to have greater impact if we regularly carry out evaluation.
At left are links to evaluation tools for coaches,
teachers, and site teams. When done on a continual basis, evaluation
deepens and strengthens our learning and helps us determine best practices in civic work.
Familiarize
yourself with the tools. Make a plan for
your Public Achievement year, including regular evaluation. And share your results
with your Public Achievement site, local community, and the Center for Democracy and Citizenship. There are people around
the globe interested in learning what you
are
doing
and learning.
